The Agri Air is an exciting new range of overseeders which are perfect for smaller pastures with slopes or undulating terrain. Extremely stable and manoeuvrable, the Agri Air features a pneumatic hopper which channels the seed directly to the cam wheel. Changing seed types and resetting the reliable calibration is done in the blink of an eye. The Agri Air Series also looks the part thanks to the Vredo attention to style and detail!

Overseeding is only successful if the seed is directly sown into the soil. The Agri Air Series is equipped with the famous and proven Dual-Disc System.

The pairs of independently sprung discs, set 7.5cms apart, guide seed into a V-shaped slit in the sward, whatever the soil conditions – clay, peat, loam or sand – wet or dry.

The roller then closes the slit and ensures good contact between seed and soil. Water and nutrients have thereby easy access to the seed, this encourages strong root formation and fast germination.

Research in Germany confirms that the Vredo system generates a germination rate of 96%! This very high score is only possible every single time because the seeding depth is precisely adjustable from 0-25 mm.

The Agri Air Series has two working widths: 2.5 and 2.9 meter. Both can be equipped with either smooth or packer ring roller. The latter is perfect for rough surfaces and paddocks with undulating terrain.

The seed hopper, with a 200 litre capacity, can be filled safely via a standing platform. The pneumatic/mechanical seed distribution has seamless adjustment from 3 to 210 kg/hectare. This enables an accurate and quick calibration. For very small quantities i.e. clover or large grain or barley, special cam wheels are available. Working speed is 13 km/h. A land wheel drives the seed system independently keeping a consistent seed dosage irrespective of travel speed – slow or fast, seed rate per m2 is always the same! The fan is electrically driven and needs a power supply of 12 Volts fused on 25 Ampères.

As standard fitting the Agri Air Series is supplied with a digital hectare counter (day and overall counter), a platform for safe filling of the machine and light kits for safe road transport.
